Introducing Prison Breakout’s New Heists
For years, Prison Breakout players have took to the streets to create anarchy and avoid Guards at all costs. One of the best ways to do this? Our classic feature: Heists.
In our latest update, Prison Breakout’s heists will be receiving the largest overhaul you have ever seen, introducing two redesigns for major existing locations and two totally new heists taking place in Area 51 and the “Fort Who?” Warehouse.
To prepare yourself for the upcoming changes, here is a breakdown of every overhaul and what to look out for when you login to Prison Breakout’s new update.
THE BANK JOB 🪙
As soon as you begin your robbery of Crim City’s infamous Bank, you’ll notice one big problem. The shutters are closing, and you’re about to be locked in. Using your criminal skills, you must traverse through laser rooms and security before reaching your grand prize: The Vault.
Blow open the Vault Door to view your treasures; safes, deposit boxes and cash. Now, it is time for your grand escape. With the bank on lockdown, you’ll need to break out in style.
THE JEWELRY STORE HEIST 💎
There’s no better place for a smash-and-grab than Crim City’s prestigious Jewelry Store. This is the central hub for all citizens to come and bling themselves out, spend money in the city, and enjoy the fruits of their labor. But not on your watch; this Jewelry is yours for the taking.
Take down the store’s security to commit your heist in style, smashing open the Jewelry cabinets and stealing as much as you can. In vintage criminal fashion, there’s only one option for the coolest escape: The Roof.
THE WAREHOUSE ESPIONAGE ❓
A large corporation is storing their valuable patents inside a heavily-guarded location. Nothing is more appetizing to a lowly criminal than sticking it to the big guy, and that’s why you need to find a way into this Warehouse. Patents need defending, so you will encounter armed guards during your Heist - be prepared for a fight.
Obviously, breaking into a company’s warehouse and stealing their most prized secrets is going to draw a lot of attention. With the patent in your hand, it’s time to make your escape before backup arrives!
THE heist of AREA 51 👽
The government of Scelus Island has been working in Top Secret for years now, with citizens only catching a glimpse of their work from the distance. Luckily for us, they work in plain sight. Area 51 is the government’s central hub of secrets, and you have heard rumors of a valuable asset about to be released for testing. It’s now or never - time for you to break into Area 51, hack into the government’s cybersecurity and take off with their prized possession.
By take off, we mean literally. Area 51 holds many secrets, and you’re about to hit the runway with one - stealing the government’s Top Secret spy plane. But be careful… it’s not just the military you need to look out for. Sometimes the most powerful enemies are the other criminals in your lobby.

With all of these insane overhauls, we have fundamentally changed the way Heists work in Prison Breakout. Including some much-anticipated quality of life updates and easy accessibility to new players.

Starting with the latest update, you can now start any Heist by talking to the top specialist on the island - Wolf. You can find this mysterious agent around the map, where he will give you intel on future missions, advice, and all the guidance you need. Talk to him to get started!
More engaging than ever. 📈
During your heists, players will now be shown a step-by-step guide on your current objective, eliminating confusion and allowing for a seamless and thrilling experience. Some goals during the heist will now be shared with your fellow criminals, letting your whole squad contribute to the objective.
We haven’t forgotten about you, Guards. 👮
If you intervene on a heist and eliminate all of the participating Criminals, it will fail and you will be rewarded handsomely. And don’t worry, we will reward you simply for trying - if you eliminate just a few heist participants, you will receive extra gold for your effort.
