ABOUT
Prison Breakout is an open-world roleplay game within Fortnite, you can either be a Prisoner or a Guard.
Prisoners must escape Prison and avoid getting arrested again, rob stores or engage in Heists to earn gold, which you can use to purchase weapons, items, upgrades, cosmetics and more around the map.
Guards will need to prevent Prisoners from escaping and also hunt down Criminals that have already escaped, you’ll be rewarded for your arrests and given passive income for being a guard.
You can always take a break from the action by entering a safezone, there’s locations around the map to chill, put the weapons down and have some fun, like the Criminal Club in Ashbrook Hills.
HISTORY
With 140+ million plays to date, it’s one of the largest creative maps in Fortnite.
Prison Breakout was featured by Epic Games as part of the "Island Games" event in 2021, offering exclusive challenges that players could complete for XP and cosmetic rewards. This event brought 10 million players to Prison Breakout over a 7 day period. The game has also appeared as an official Limited Time Mode 6 times, resulting in coverage from news outlets, content creators and official Epic Games marketing material.
To this day Prison Breakout continues to average over 1 million monthly players.
